AQUA GUARD GROSS PRIMER-1K

DEFINITION
It is a water-based, acrylic resin-based plaster primer for exposed concrete surfaces, walls and ceilings, which increases the adhesion of cement and gypsum-based liquids to the surface, and a primer used on exposed concrete surfaces.

0.2- 0.25 kg/m2 single coat application

Usage Areas
It is used as a primer in all buildings, on exposed concrete surfaces with high water absorption, on walls and ceilings, under cement and gypsum based plaster, to increase adherence and working time, and to prevent water absorbency.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Layers that will reduce adherence such as oil, grease, dirt, paint, cement grout, rust, mold oil, salt bleed should be thoroughly cleaned before application. The surfaces must be clean, sound, free of carrier and free particles. Cracks and fractures on the surface should be carefully repaired with repair mortars and the surface should be prepared. After the surface is ready, primer application should be started.

APPLICATION
• It is a ready-made material, diluted 40-50% and applied.
• It should be applied after the material is mixed very well.
• Gloves must be used during the application.
• It is applied by spraying, brush or roller.
• It should not be applied in rainy weather or at temperatures below 5°.
