INNOPUR SEAL PU BITUMEN THIX-2K

DEFINITION
INNOPUR SEAL PU BITUMEN THIX-2K is a two-component, bitumen-enriched, thixotropic polyurethane-based, ideal filling material with high performance developed for vertical joints. It adheres strongly to almost any surface, forming a highly elastic layer. Its resistance to chemicals and mechanical effects is excellent. Its content is based entirely on elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin and supported by chemically polymerized pure bitumen. It has excellent resistance to different climatic and heat conditions. In addition to its effective waterproofing feature, it also shows very good resistance against chemicals and other destructive factors.

ADVANTAGES

APPLICATION
Environmental Conditions The relative humidity of the air should be 80% maximum, and the application temperature (environment and surface) should be between +3°C and +35°C. It should not be rainy 24 hours before, during and 24 hours after the application in open areas.
The ground temperature should be 3°C above the current dew (dew falling) temperature.

Surface types that can achieve successful results: Concrete, fiber cement, mosaic, cement-based roof tiles, old but well-adhered acrylic and asphalt coatings, wood, corroded metal and galvanized steel surfaces. For other substrates, please contact our technical department.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; Oil, grease, fuel and paraffin wastes should be removed, as well as completely free from mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles and cured membranes. Mixing Equal amounts of two components should be removed by hand or with a mixer operating at low speed (300 rpm). After mixing, apply immediately with a trowel. The pot life of the mixture is 25-30 minutes at 20°C.

Application
Apply the material with a trowel.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. The life of the material is 1 year for components A and B when stored properly and in its unopened original packaging.

Application Tools
bench, applicator, spatula. Equipment to be used must be of professional quality.

Cleaning
Application devices and other devices contaminated by the sealant should be cleaned before the sealant hardens. For this purpose, tools that are first wiped with a cloth or oakum should be cleaned with solvents such as aromatic-based toluene and xylene.

Security
The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should be carefully read by the applicators and supervisors and the written matters should be followed. Empty packages should be treated in accordance with the regulations and laws in this regard.

Material Storage
The material should be stored in dry and closed warehouses. Recommended storage temperature is 10 – 25°C. Under these conditions, the material retains its properties for one year in its unopened package.

Care
The parts of the coating that are damaged for any reason are repaired and reused. In this regard, please contact our Technical Support service when necessary.
