POLYURETHANE BASED FIRE-RETENTANT MATTE FILLER VARNISH

DEFINITION
It is a polyurethane-based, two-component, solvent-based, fire-retardant, matt-coloured varnish suitable for processing raw wood. This product is a blend of proprietary ingredients that create a layer of foam and carbon charcoal that swells slightly when treated wood is exposed to fire. When carbon char is formed, there will be minimal flame spread, smoke development, or a similar afterglow. The product is intended for indoor use only. The product can be used in outdoor applications if the topcoat is coated with an approved product.

RECOMMENDED USE
Public buildings, construction buildings, offices, factories, clubs, bars, banks, airports and train stations, hotels, shops, schools, hospitals, gyms and fitness centers.

Drying times were measured at 40 micron dry film thickness under normal conditions. Drying time will increase when the application thickness increases and in cold weather.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean and solid. Wooden surfaces should be cleaned of dust after proper sanding.

Ambient conditions
The ambient temperature should be between +5 and +35 ° C. Pay attention to ventilation in indoor applications.

Mixing Procedure
It is a two-component product and therefore, it should be prepared in the mixing ratio specified for the amount to be used, taking into account the pot life. For a homogeneous mixture, make sure that the product temperature is not lower than 15 ° C. Component A should be mixed rapidly using a mechanical mixer and then the hardener (component B) should be added, paying attention to the mixing ratio. A and B components should be mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Surface Application
The ready-to-use mixture is applied with an airless spray in two or three layers. until the desired surface saturation is reached. It should be left in a dust-free place to cure.

Application tools
11502 POLYURETHANE FIRE RETARDANT FILLER VARNISH can be applied with spray, brush or roller. The product should penetrate the wood and must be allowed to dry thoroughly for it to be effective. The product can be painted with a compatible topcoat after treatment. PACKING INFORMATION: A set of 18 kg 11502 POLYURETHANE FIRE-RETARDANT FILLER VARNISH 2 + 1; Net 12 kg is Component A in a bucket and 6 kg net is Component B in a gallon. A set of 3.7kg 11502 POLYURETHANE FIRE-RETARDANT FILLER VARNISH 2+1; Net 2.5 kg is Component A in a bucket and net 1.25 kg is Component B in a gallon. STORAGE: Store the product in a cool and dry place. The shelf life of the product is 12 months in unopened original packaging when properly stored.
