DESCRIPTION
INNOPUR SEAL PU BITUMEN THIX-2K is an ideal high-performance, two-component, bitumen-extended, thixotropic polyurethane-based sealant developed for vertical joints. It creates a highly elastic layer by adhering strongly to almost any type of surface. Its resistance to chemicals and mechanical effects is excellent. Its content is based on fully elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin and reinforced with chemically polymerized pure bitumen. Its resistance to different climate and temperature conditions is excellent. In addition to its effective waterproofing feature, it shows very good resistance against chemicals and other destructive factors.

APPLICATION
Environmental Conditions Relative humidity of the air should be at most 80%, application temperature (ambient and surface) should be between +3°C and +35°C. It should not be rainy 24 hours before starting application in open areas, during application, and 24 hours after application.
Substrate temperature must be 3°C above the current dew point temperature.

Suitable Substrates Concrete, fiber cement, terrazzo, cement-based roof tiles, old but well-adhered acrylic and asphalt coatings, wood, corroded metal, and galvanized steel surfaces. For other substrates, please contact our technical department.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues must be removed, and it must be completely freed from mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles, and cured membranes. Mixing After mixing equal amounts of the two components by hand or with a low-speed mixer (300 rpm), apply immediately with a trowel. Pot life of the mixture at 20°C is 25-30 minutes.

Apply the material with a trowel.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. When stored correctly in unopened original packaging, the shelf life of components A and B is 1 year.
