INNOPUR STONE EP RESIN-2K

DESCRIPTION
INNOPUR STONE UV RESIN EP-2K is a 100% solid content, two-component, epoxy-based liquid product. It forms a highly durable and hard yet elastic film reacting chemically. It has excellent UV resistance and high hydrophobic properties.

The product is multi-purpose.

-As a coating on tiles such as marble and ceramics,
-As a binder in natural stones,
-As a glossy floor on balconies,

It can also be used for concrete waterproofing. It can be applied in thick layers without bubbling.
The usage rate is 6%. It has high wetting and cross-linking properties. Provides fast drying even in cold weather and damp concrete.

APPLICATION METHOD
Surface preparation
The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues must be removed, as well as mold release agents, cement residues, and sawdust completely cleared. Surface defects and cracks should be repaired by filling with appropriate products.

Priming
Regardless of surface condition (porous or non-porous), it must be used as a primer (INNOPUR PRIMER PU 100-1K or INNOPUR PRIMER EP-100).

Binder resin application
Following the drying of the primer layer, gravel stone granules, which are the first step of application, will be mixed by adding 2-component polymer-based stone binder resin at a rate of 6% for about 10 minutes with the help of a concrete mortar mixer or mixer.

FLOOR COATING APPLICATION

FOR HORIZONTAL SURFACES
In order to obtain an 8 mm thickness from 2-4 mm or 4-7 mm stone granules, an average of 0.800 kg of polymer-based stone binder resin should be used per square meter for 13 kg of gravel granules.
(Stone granule sizes can be used in desired dimensions)

The mixture is laid on the ground by compacting it with a vibration machine or trowel, like pouring asphalt.

FOR VERTICAL SURFACES
In order to obtain a 5-6 mm thickness from 2-4 mm or 4-7 mm stone granules, an average of 0.420 kg of polymer-based stone binder resin should be used per square meter for 8 kg of gravel granules. Thickening powder must be added to achieve consistency and hang on the wall.
