INNOPUR SHIELD PU ALIPHATIC COLD POLYUREA

DESCRIPTION
It is a two-component, 95% solids aliphatic polyurea system. Developed for manual application (roller or trowel) in multi-component systems. It exhibits excellent elasticity, combined with a specially formulated polymerized profile to enhance adhesion. Ideal for commercial and industrial applications requiring high abrasion and impact resistance. Suitable for outdoor use. No topcoat aliphatic paint is required.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Surface Preparation
The application surface must be sound. The surface must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm² and a pull-off test result of at least 1.5 N/mm². New concrete should be cured for at least 28 days depending on the season, and concrete surfaces should have a maximum moisture content of 5-6%. All loose, fragile particles, oil and paint residues, and cement laitance must be removed. Wide cracks and defects should be repaired in advance. The cement laitance and glossy screed on the concrete surface should be cleaned, roughened, and abraded using tools such as shot blasting, scarifying, diamond grinding, or power sanding. The entire surface must be freed from dust using an industrial vacuum cleaner.

Environmental Conditions
Relative air humidity should be at most 80%, and the application temperature (ambient and surface) must be between +5°C and +35°C. It should not rain 24 hours prior to, during, and 24 hours after application outdoors. The substrate temperature must be 3°C above the current dew point temperature. Mixing Instructions
Since it is a two-component product, consider the pot life and prepare only the amount to be consumed according to the specified mixing ratio. To obtain a homogeneous mixture, ensure that the product temperature is not below 10°C. Component A should be mixed briefly on its own using a mechanical mixer, then hardener (Component B) should be added according to the mixing ratio. Components A and B must be mixed with a mechanical mixer until homogeneous.

Application Method
The ready-to-use mixture is applied with a roller or trowel to saturate the surface and close the pores. The overcoating time for a new layer is a minimum of 12 hours (at 20°C) and a maximum of 1 day. It is critical to apply the second coat within the specified recoat window.

Consumption Rate
Minimum consumption: 1-1.5 kg/m²

PACKAGING
An 18 kg set consists of net 12 kg Component A in a bucket and net 6 kg Component B in a gallon.

STORAGE
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. When stored properly in its unopened original packaging, the shelf life for Components A and B is 1 year.
