INNOPUR SHIELD PU BITUMEN-2K
DESCRIPTION
A fast-curing, two-component, bitumen-extended polyurethane-based liquid material. It strongly adheres to almost any surface, forming a highly elastic film. Excellent resistance to chemicals and mechanical impacts. Can be used as a joint sealant. Its content is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin, chemically extended with polymerized pure bitumen.

ADVANTAGES

• Can be applied in thick coats without forming bubbles.
• Unmixed components outside the application amount can be stored for future use.
• Low modulus provides excellent crack-bridging capability.

• Excellent adhesion to all surfaces, with or without primer.
• Although thinning is not required, it can be thinned with polyurethane thinner according to conditions.
• Excellent thermal resistance, the product never softens.
• Maximum service temperature is 80°C, maximum shock temperature is 200°C.
• Cold resistant, the film retains its elasticity down to -40°C.
• Excellent mechanical properties.
• High elongation, tensile, tear, and abrasion resistance.
• Acts effectively as a water vapor barrier.
• Can also be applied as a joint sealant.
• 1/1 volume ratio of components simplifies the mixing process.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
Environmental Conditions
• Relative humidity should be maximum 80%, application temperature (ambient and surface) between +3°C and +35°C.
• In open areas, there should be no rain 24 hours prior to application, during application, and 24 hours after application.
• Substrate temperature must be 3°C above the current dew point temperature.

Suitable Substrates
Concrete, fiber cement, mosaic, cement-based roof tiles, old but well-adhered acrylic and asphalt coatings, wood, corroded metal, and galvanized steel surfaces. For other substrates, please contact our technical department.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface should be cleaned, preferably using pressurized water; oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues must be removed, as well as mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles, and cured membranes completely.
Mixing
After mixing equal amounts of the two components manually or with a low-speed mixer (300 rpm), apply immediately. Pot life of the mixture is 30-45 minutes at 20°C. In airless spray application, especially if a machine with low power is involved, thinning the mixture with a small amount of thinner may be required.
Application
Apply the material with a brush, roller, or spatula.
Minimum Consumption
1.0-1.5 L/m2.

A: 20 KG, B: 20 KG and A: 200 KG, B: 200 KG
STORAGE INFORMATION
Material should be stored in a cool and dry place. Shelf life of components A and B is 1 year when stored correctly in unopened original packaging.
HEALTH/SAFETY INFORMATION:
Comply with the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) prepared in accordance with relevant EU directives for the product. Although it contains no volatile substances, creating proper ventilation conditions in enclosed spaces is strongly recommended. Additionally, methane gas leaking from the soil may accumulate inside tanks. This possibility should always be considered and precautions taken. Request the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) from your supplier.
