INNOPUR SHIELD PU CRYSTAL-80

DESCRIPTION
It is a single-component, polyurethane-based liquid product with a high solid content. It cures with atmospheric moisture to form a highly durable and elastic film. It has excellent UV resistance and high hydrophobic properties. Due to its aliphatic structure, it does not fade or yellow when exposed to sunlight. Its content is based on pure elastomeric, hydrophobic, aliphatic polyurethane resin, which gives the material excellent chemical, mechanical, and thermal resistance in addition to UV and other natural elements.

USES
• Tiles such as marble, ceramic.
• Natural stones.
• Verandas and terraces.
• Wooden surfaces.
• Concrete waterproofing.

ADVANTAGES
• Excellent weather and UV resistance.
• Thermal resistance is excellent, the product never softens. Maximum service temperature is 80°C; maximum shock temperature is 200°C.
• Can be applied in thick layers without bubbling.
• Can be applied undiluted. However, if required, it can be diluted with a special solvent.
• Cold resistance: The film maintains its elasticity down to -40°C.
• Excellent mechanical properties.
• Effective chemical resistance.
• Effective in water vapor permeability: Since the film breathes, no moisture accumulation occurs under the layer.

LIMITATIONS
Cannot be applied in thick layers.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Environmental Conditions
Relative humidity should be a maximum of 80%, and application temperature (ambient and surface) must be between +3°C and +35°C. It should not rain 24 hours before application in open areas, during application, and 24 hours after application. Substrate temperature must be 3°C above the current dew point temperature. (Please request the Ambient Temperature-Ambient Humidity-Dew Point table from our company.) Not recommended for weak substrates. Do not apply in thick layers. Suitable surface types for successful results: Tiles, cement-based roof tiles, concrete, wood, corroded metal, and galvanized steel surfaces.

Surface Preparation
The surface should be cleaned, preferably using high-pressure water; oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residue should be removed, and it must be completely freed from mold release agents, cement residues, shavings, loose particles, and cured membranes. The application surface must be DRY.

Priming
A primer (INNOPUR PRIMER) must be used on non-porous surfaces such as ceramics and marble. Apply the primer with a clean cloth without allowing accumulation or sagging (as if cleaning the surface).

Mixing
Mix manually or with a low-speed electric mixer. Can be applied undiluted. A special solvent can be used when necessary. Application: As soon as the primer dries (15-20 minutes), apply one or two coats with a roller. The time between coats should not exceed 24 hours.

CONSUMPTION
Minimum total consumption: 0.2-1.0 kg/m2

STORAGE INFORMATION
Can be stored for a minimum of 12 months in unopened original pails in dry environments at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C. Material in opened pails should be consumed as quickly as possible.
