INNOPUR PRIMER EP AQUA-2K

DESCRIPTION
Two-component water-based epoxy primer. It penetrates deeply into the surface, strengthening it and creating an adhesion surface for insulation coatings. It can also be used alone as a surface protective varnish or mixed with cementitious fillers to create an epoxy repair mortar.

APPLICATION AREAS
• As a primer in applications against negative pressure and moisture (tanks, pools, foundations, etc.)
• As a primer prior to epoxy, polyurethane, or cementitious systems
• As a concrete sealing layer
• As a bonding agent between old and new concrete
• As a water and moisture barrier

APPLICATION DETAILS
Mix the two components thoroughly by hand or using a low-speed mixer (300 rpm). Thin the mixture by adding 10-30% water. Since it is highly dependent on weather conditions, the recoating time cannot be precisely determined: it can be as short as 5 hours in summer or as long as 24 hours in winter. You can determine when to apply the next coat by touch: when the applied coat turns from milky white to transparent and reaches a hardness that cannot be punctured by finger pressure, proceed with the next coat (INNOPUR SHIELD).

CONSUMPTION
As a primer: Apply in thin coats with a total consumption of 150 g/m² in one or two coats.

As a water and moisture barrier
Apply in three coats with a total consumption of 600 g/m².
