INNOPUR FLOOR PU TOPCOAT D-1K

DESCRIPTION
It is a single-component, polyurethane-based liquid material that cures with atmospheric moisture. It forms a very strong film by adhering with superior performance to almost any type of surface. It shows excellent resistance to chemicals and hydrolysis. It is an ideal product for protecting metal structures against corrosion. Suitable for chemical treatment tanks, wastewater basins, and sewage pipes. It has high resistance against gases such as methane and hydrogen sulfide released during wastewater purification. It is applied in one or two coats by roller, brush, or airless spray machine with a maximum consumption of 150 g/m² per coat. Thinner is not required.

It is applied by airless spray or roller in specified quantities or in required amounts to achieve the desired dry film thickness controlled by a wet film comb. Waiting time between coats is a minimum of 6 hours (20 °C) and a maximum of 5 days. It is crucial to apply the second coat within the specified topcoating period. It reaches full mechanical and chemical resistance in approximately 7 days.

LIMITATIONS
• Not recommended for unstable sub-layers.
• Not suitable for thick layer application.

APPLICATION DETAILS
The surface should be cleaned, if possible using pressurized water; oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues must be removed, and it should be completely freed from mold release agents, cement residues, shavings, loose particles, and cured membranes. Surface defects and cracks should be repaired by filling with appropriate products.

Mixing
Thinner is not required.

Application
Apply one or two coats by brush, roller, or airless spray machine. Each coat must be applied before the previous one is fully cured. This ensures maximum adhesion between coats.

Black, grey, oxide color pigments

CONSUMPTION
Maximum consumption for each coat: 150 g/m².
Maximum total consumption: 300 g/m².
Maximum total consumption in continuous contact with chemicals: 450 g/m².

CLEANING
Clean tools and equipment first with paper towels, then wipe with SOLVENT.

SHELF LIFE
Can be stored for a minimum of 12 months in unopened original pails in dry environments at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C. Material in opened pails should be used as soon as possible.
