INNOPUR FLOOR PU TOPCOAT D-1K

DESCRIPTION
It is a two-component, solvent-free polyurethane-based liquid material. It adheres to almost all types of surfaces with superior performance, forming a moderately elastic, strong film. Its formulation is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin and special inorganic fillers, giving the material excellent resistance against chemical effects and abrasion. Direct or indirect exposure to UV light tends to cause yellowing. However, this is a superficial change and does not affect the waterproofing properties or protection performance in any way. To preserve the color, pigmented aliphatic topcoats should be used.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Environmental Conditions
Relative humidity of the air should be at most 80%, application temperature (ambient and surface) must be between +3°C and +35°C. It should not rain 24 hours before application, during application, and 24 hours after application outdoors. Substrate temperature must be 3°C above the current dew point temperature. Substrates for successful results
Concrete, fiber cement, terrazzo/mosaic, cement-based roof tiles, old but well-adhered acrylic and asphalt coatings, wood, corroded metal, and galvanized steel surfaces. Application for concrete tanks: The surface should be cleaned using high-pressure water if possible; oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues must be removed, as well as form release agents, cement residues, laitance, loose particles, and cured membranes. Surface defects and cracks should be filled and repaired with suitable products. For tanks made of materials other than concrete, please contact our technical department.

Preparation of the Mixture
It is a two-component product and considering the pot life, only the required amount should be prepared according to the specified mixing ratio. Ensure the product temperature is not below 15°C to achieve a homogeneous mix. Component A should be stirred quickly with a mechanical mixer, then the hardener (Component B) added, adhering to the mixing ratio. Mix Components A and B with a low-speed mixer (300 rpm) for at least 3 minutes until homogeneous. Take care to consume the prepared mixture within its pot life.

0.3-0.5 kg/m².

POT LIFE
• The pot life of the mixed two components is 30 minutes at 20°C.

To extend pot life
• Keep the container with the mixture in a cool place, away from sunlight.
• Pour the mixed product onto the surface first to loosen up, then spread.
• Pour the mixed product into a wide, shallow, separate container.

STORAGE INFORMATION
Material should be stored in a cool and dry place. When stored correctly in unopened original packaging, shelf life for components A and B is 1 year.
