INNOPUR SHIELD PU CRYSTAL-50

DESCRIPTION
Single-component, polyurethane-based liquid material. It cures with atmospheric moisture. It adheres seamlessly to the entire surface, forming a transparent film. Being aliphatic, it does not yellow when exposed to direct sunlight. Its composition is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin, offering excellent resistance against UV rays, chemical, mechanical, thermal, and atmospheric factors.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Environmental Conditions
Relative humidity of the air must be maximum 80%, application temperature (ambient and surface) should be between +3°C and +35°C. For outdoor applications, it must not rain 24 hours prior to application, during application, and 24 hours after application. The surface temperature must be at least 3°C above the current dew point temperature. (Please request the Ambient Temperature - Relative Humidity - Dew Point table from our company.)
Not recommended for unsound substrates. Cannot be applied in thick layers.

Surface Preparation
If possible, the surface should be cleaned using high-pressure water, removing oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues, as well as release agents, cement residue, wood chips, loose particles, and cured membranes. Glassy, glazed substrates should be mechanically abraded or primed with INNOPUR PRIMER. Please contact our technical department for detailed priming information. The application surface must be DRY. When used as a topcoat to preserve the color of the underlying paint, it should be tinted with a maximum of 10% pigment paste. When intended as a topcoat over floor coatings, epoxy/polyurethane paint, or self-leveling systems, it should be applied within 24 hours following the main coat application (also tinted with max 10% pigment paste). Mixing: Ensure no air bubbles form when mixing or pigmenting the material; otherwise, bubbles may remain on the cured membrane. It can be mixed with a low-speed (300 rpm) mixer or manually.

Application
Apply in one or two coats using a brush, roller, or airless spray equipment. The interval between coats should not exceed 48 hours. In unpigmented applications, consider whether the substrate or underlying layer is UV resistant and take appropriate measures.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. Shelf life is 1 year for components A and B when stored correctly in unopened original packaging.
