INNOPUR FLOOR PU CLEAR MAT-1K

DESCRIPTION
It is a single-component, low-viscosity, polyurethane-based liquid product. It cures with atmospheric moisture to adhere strongly to almost any type of substrate and forms a transparent membrane. Due to its aliphatic structure, it does not yellow when exposed to direct sunlight. Its formulation is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin, which provides the material with excellent resistance against UV and other natural elements, as well as chemical, mechanical, and thermal aspects.

APPLICATION AREAS
Functions exceptionally well as a sealer for substrates such as stone, porous marble, and terrazzo.

LIMITATIONS
Cannot be applied in thick coats.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Environmental Conditions
Relative atmospheric humidity should be a maximum of 80%, and application temperature (ambient and surface) should be between +3°C and +35°C. In outdoor applications, there should be no rain 24 hours prior to application, during application, and 24 hours after application. Substrate temperature must be 3°C above the current dew point temperature. (Please request the Ambient Temperature-Ambient Humidity-Dew Point table from our company.) Not recommended for unsound substrates. Do not apply in thick layers.

Surface Preparation
Ensure that air bubbles do not form during mixing, as bubbles may remain on the cured membrane. Can be mixed using a low-speed (300 rpm) mixer or manually.

Application
Apply one or two coats using a brush. The second coat should be applied within 6-24 hours. The interval between coats must not exceed 48 hours. Apply in very thin coats to prevent bubble formation.

CONSUMPTION
Minimum total consumption
0.1-0.2 kg/m2

CLEANING
Clean tools and equipment first with a paper towel, then wipe with polyurethane thinner. Do not attempt to clean brushes; they are not suitable for reuse.
