INNOPUR FLOOR PU TOPCOAT ACR-2K
INNOPUR FLOOR PU TOPCOAT ACR-2K
DESCRIPTION
It is a two-component, highly UV-resistant, fast-curing material based on aliphatic acrylic polyester resin, designed to be used as a smooth, glossy, or matte colored topcoat flooring material in multi-layer or thin-layer systems.
USAGE AREAS
• Used as a protective topcoat paint for all types of floor coatings, including outdoor applications.
• On concrete, cement, and epoxy joints, in all industrial floors,
• On galvanized, aluminum, and stainless steel surfaces,
• On PVC floors,
• As a protective topcoat paint on exterior insulation materials.
ADVANTAGES
• Suitable for airless spray applications
• Resistant to many chemicals such as diesel fuel and gasoline,
• High abrasion resistance,
• Hard flexible structure,
• High UV resistance.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Surface Preparation
The floor surface must be clean and stable. Attention should be paid to the waiting time for the top coat of the previous primer or base coat.
Surface Preparation
The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues must be removed, and it must also be completely freed from mold release agents, cement residues, sawdust, loose particles, and cured membranes. The application surface must be DRY.
Resistance
Mechanically, it resists the mechanical impact of medium to high loads. Thermally, it resists up to +80°C in humid heat (also without chemical and mechanical effects) and up to +120°C in dry heat.
Application Conditions
• Relative humidity of the air should be maximum 75% and application (ambient and surface) temperature should be between 5 and 35°C.
• In case of outdoor applications, there should be no rain 48 hours before and after the application.
• The surface temperature must then be 3°C above the dew point. (Call our company for the Ambient Temperature-Ambient Humidity Dew Point table.)
Mixing Procedure
It is a two-component product and therefore should be prepared in the specified mixing ratio for the amount to be used, considering the pot life. Ensure that the product temperature is not lower than 15°C for a homogeneous mixture. Component A should be mixed rapidly using a mechanical mixer, and then the hardener (Component B) should be added keeping the mixing ratio in mind. Components A and B should be mixed for at least 3 minutes using a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. Ensure that the prepared mixture is consumed within the pot life of the mixture.
Surface Application
After being made ready for application, the mixture is preferably applied by airless spray or roller in the specified amount or in such an amount in the paint system to achieve the desired dry film thickness checked by a wet film comb. The waiting time between coats is at least 6 hours (20°C) and at most 5 days. It is very important to apply the second coat within the above-mentioned top coating time. It reaches full mechanical and chemical resistance in approximately 7 days.
Cleaning
Cellulosic or Polyurethane thinner.
CONSUMPTION
1st Coat: 100-150 g/m2
2nd Coat: 100-150 g/m2
PACKAGING INFORMATION: 16.5 kg (comp. A: 15kg, comp. B: 1.5kg)
STORAGE INFORMATION
Store the product in a cool and dry place. The shelf life of the product for Component A is 1 year and for Component B is 6 months when stored properly in its original unopened container.
HEALTH / SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prepared in accordance with relevant EU directives before use.
