INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBBER-2K

DESCRIPTION
INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBBER-2K is a two-component, polyurethane-based adhesive used for bonding tile and roll rubber coverings. Cures at room temperature.

USAGE AREAS
✓ Bonding rubber floor coverings to concrete, metal, and asphalt in indoor and outdoor areas,
✓ Bonding prefabricated lightweight walls made using polyurethane, wooden boards, cork, and metallic foils,
✓ Bonding sandwich panels made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals to wood; bonding tiles and acoustic insulation panels made of cork or SBR in wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens in buildings.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation
The surface must be dry and clean. Free of oil, wax, grease, water repellents, dust, and loose particles. Moisture content should be maximum 8%.

New Concrete
Concrete must be at least 28 days old and free of curing compounds on its surface.

Old Concrete
The surface must be free of easily removable parts, crumbling, and dusting.

Metal
The surface must be clean.

Priming
Concrete, asphalt, and metal surfaces are primed with our single or two-component PU-based primer. Primer application can be done by brush or roller. Primer consumption is 150-400 g/m² depending on surface smoothness, strength, and absorbency. After applying the primer, wait a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 12 hours before applying the adhesive to the surface.

Mixing
A mechanical mixer running at 100-200 rpm is used for mixing. Maximum care should be taken to prevent air incorporation into the adhesive during mixing. The entire Component B (Hardener) is poured into Component A. Mixing time should be a minimum of 5 minutes. To ensure a homogeneous mixture, it may be necessary to scrape the side walls and bottom of the container with a spatula. Homogeneous mixing of the 2 components is crucial for adhesive performance. A uniform color indicates proper mixing.

Pot Life of the Mixture
When Components A and B of INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBBER-2K are mixed, the reaction heats up as it is exothermic (heat-releasing system). Especially on hot days, when a full package of INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBBER-2K is mixed, it is recommended to pour the entire mixture onto the floor and spread it. The mixture should be used within 30-40 minutes depending on ambient temperature. Lower temperatures will extend the pot life, while higher temperatures will shorten it.

APPLICATION TOOLS AND APPLICATION
INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBBER-2K is applied with a notched trowel. Trowel selection and consumption depend on the structure of the surfaces to be bonded. Consumption ranges between 500-1000 g/m². Applying dynamic or static pressure on the bonded surfaces is important for adhesive performance. When pressure is applied, all surfaces to be bonded come into contact with the adhesive, ensuring homogeneous transfer.

CLEANING
Excess adhesive and tool cleaning can be performed with thinner while the adhesive is wet. Cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.

SHELF LIFE
1 year for Component A and B in their original unopened packaging at storage temperatures of 10-25 ºC. Protect Components A and B from direct sunlight and moisture.
