INNOPUR SPORT PU TOPCOAT MAT
INNOPUR SPORT PU TOPCOAT MAT
DESCRIPTION
INNOPUR SPORT PU TOP COAT MAT is a two-component, aliphatic (non-yellowing), polyurethane-based, solvent-containing, flexible, soft-finish, UV and weather-resistant colored topcoat coating.
USES
INNOPUR SPORT PU TOP COAT MAT is used as a topcoat coating on concrete, polyurethane, and epoxy floors where abrasion resistance, UV resistance, and a matte-gloss appearance are desired.
APPLICATION
Environmental Conditions Required for Application
Maximum ambient humidity should be 80% - Ambient temperature must be between 10-30 °C - It should not be rainy 24 hours before, during, and 24 hours after application in outdoor areas - Floor temperature must be 3 °C above the current dew point temperature. Please request the Ambient Temperature-Ambient Humidity-Dew Point Temperature table from our company.
-INNOPUR SPORT TOP COAT MAT temperature should be between 15-25 °C.
Floor Conditions Required for Application
Floor temperature must be between 10-30 °C. The topcoat of solvent-free surface coating systems should be applied within 3 days. If the topcoat is to be applied on a previously coated floor or if the recoating time has been exceeded, sanding should be performed if necessary.
Surface Preparation
The floor surface must be dry, clean, sound, and load-bearing. Oil, wax, grease, water repellents, loose unbonded particles, and dust that weaken adhesion forces must be removed by an appropriate method.
Mixing
INNOPUR SPORT PU TOP COAT MAT is a two-component product used by mixing in A:B = 12:3 (by weight) ratio. In two-component polyurethane systems, homogeneous mixing of components A and B at recommended ratios is critical for maximum performance. First, component A is mixed to homogenize any settling. Component B is poured into component A. It is mixed with a 200-300 rpm mixer for a minimum of 3-4 minutes. Packaging walls and bottom are thoroughly scraped with mixer blades and trowel. Mixed again for 1 more minute. A specified amount of specially dried quartz sand is added and mixed for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Application
Immediately after ensuring components A and B are homogeneously mixed, application with a roller begins. A minimum of 2 coats should be applied.
POT LIFE / MIXTURE USE TIME
Application conditions of 2-component polyurethane systems are highly dependent on ambient temperature.
With Increasing Temperature
✓ Reaction of A and B components accelerates
✓ Gains consistency quickly, so it must spread onto the surface faster.
With Decreasing Temperature
✓ Reaction of A and B components slows down
✓ Pot life is longer
✓ Fluidity decreases.
More is consumed due to density increase. In 2-component polyurethane systems, component A and component B chemically react, generating heat and increasing mixture temperature. As mixed quantity increases, temperature rise is higher and faster. Especially on hot days, to obtain long working and processing times, spreading the mixture onto the surface immediately is important. If the mixture is full batch, it can be transferred to smaller volume containers or containers with wide surface area, or mixing in smaller quantities (by weighing) can minimize these effects. For these reasons, stock temperature of INNOPUR SPORT PU TOP COAT MAT should be between 15-25 °C.
APPLICATION TOOLS
Applied by roller.
CONSUMPTION
100-150 g/m²
