AQUA GUARD GROSS PRIMER-1K

DESCRIPTION
Water-based, acrylic resin-based plaster primer used on fair-faced concrete surfaces, walls, and ceilings to increase the adhesion of cement and gypsum-based liquids to the surface and used on raw concrete surfaces.

0.2- 0.25 kg/m2 single coat application

APPLICATION AREAS
It is used as a primer on highly absorbent fair-faced concrete surfaces, walls, and ceilings in all structures to increase adhesion and working time under cement and gypsum-based plasters and to prevent water absorption.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Layers that reduce adhesion such as oil, grease, dirt, paint, cement laitance, rust, mold release oil, and salt efflorescence must be completely removed before application. Surfaces must be clean, sound, load-bearing, and free of loose particles. Cracks and breaks on the surface must be carefully repaired with repair mortars. Primer application should begin after surface preparation.

APPLICATION
• It is a ready-to-use material; dilute with 40-50% water before application.
• Apply after mixing the material thoroughly.
• Gloves must be worn during application.
• Applied by spray, brush, or roller.
• Do not apply in rainy weather or at temperatures below 5°C.
